What else makes the Paha Que Bear Creek Solo One-Person Backpacking Tent so great?

Well, since the design of this tent is based off a military model, the shelter is ideal in many scenarios. And although it's meant for 1 person, there is plenty of movable space so no feeling of bring cramped. The 'Off-the-ground' sleeping capability is essential in many environments. Reduce conduction (heat loss) and stay protected from ground dwellers. You can set this up over a standard or large size cot (7 feet or so).

Of course the rainfly is a must have amenity. The vestibule helps keep your gear dry and equipment safe from poor weather conditions. Perfect for wilderness camping and extended backpacking trips.

Easy Set Up Instructions:

  1. Unpack tent and lay out floor on flat, level ground.
  2. Locate the corner webbing; stretch and stake each corner to firm ground using stakes provided.
  3. Unfold and assemble the 2 poles, ensuring that sections are fully engaged
  4. Locate the mesh sleeves in roof, which cross at the center. Insert the poles through the roof pole sleeves.
  5. Insert each pole tip (4 total) into the grommets at each corner, located at the webbing near the floor.
  6. Tent should now be erect. You can shift location and smooth out wrinkles as desired.
To install the rainfly:
  1. First insert the Rainfly pole into the velcro pockets on the INSIDE of the rainfly, and then simply pull the fly over the roof of the tent and secure by engaging the rainfly grommets with the four pole tips.
  2. Always be sure to use the provided guylines and ground stakes to secure your Bear Creek Solo tent to the ground.
Tent Care:

Mold from storage, UV damage, and wear and tear from weather conditions are all normal. With proper care (provided) this tent can last years even with consistent use.
