Diamond Strike Anywhere Matches

I would say these matches are fairly good. They arent the easiest to light though. But they do work and when you need a light these things can be a life saver. Plus at the price point you cant really go wrong.

I wasnt expecting anything amazing for just over 2 bucks but these things are actually pretty cool. I havent had to use them in an emergency yet but just from trying them out I was able to get them to light off a lot of different surfaces. I would definitely recommend thesse matches

I have compared these new matches to the old ones and have that they are slightly more difficult to light on certain surfaces, but there are other benefits. The old ones would no longer be allowed certain shipping which would cost more, plus these new ones are safer for your health and environment. They still get the job done plenty good for me

The image for this item is misleading as of Jan 2013 it is the traditional box which is red, blue, and gold. This led me to believe it was the old-style matches. What I recieved however is the newer "Greenlight" strike anywhere matches that are of far lower quality than the old formula. The box is different, it has the "Greenlight" green artwork covering the right half of the box. I could of bought these at my local supermarket.

I want to start by saying this is a great deal, you can get 320 matches for around 2 dollars. As for the quality, they generally work very well, as described. However as Ive been using them for years, occasionally I get a pack of matches then tend to have slightly more defects but this is about one in ten. Still worth it for me
