Gerber Bear Grylls Paracord KnifeBear Grylls newest tool, the paracord wrapped fixed blade. Features full tang construction and steel blade of 4.5" and handle of 3.25". The knife handle is wrapped in 60 inches of orange blaze paracord. The kydex-like sheath is slim and features a removable belt loop.
Knife Features: Sheath allows you to carry knife while the tip is pointing either up or down. The paracord wrapped around the handle can be removed and used for survival purposes and emergencies. This knife is not avaliabel in the UK hence why i ordered it from SurvivalCampingStore US. And im definatly glad i did. For the most part an excellent knife. Needed to be sharpened when gotten at first but its held its ege well since. Comfortable to hold. I have swapped the orange paracord for black which was done easily. I am definatly pleased with the knife.
I have only one con. The BG logo can be covered by the sheath but this also changes orientation of the knife. That is to say when the logo is covered the knife can be rwn easily but a lefty but not as easily by a righty. With the BG logo on show, it is more suited to a righty. I am right handed but wanted the BG logo covered. abit annoying.
Other than that a great knife with a high quality sheath. I recommend this knife.
